What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘cancer’ Let me guess… A very close relative to death.
Cancer has been a disease which is acopymong the leading cause of death in recent years. Although scientists can’t really put a finger on the cause of cancer, they are many carcinogens or cancer-causing foods , we take, that are likely to increase the risk of getting cancer.
Cancer results when some cells start becoming ‘insurgent’ and begin to multiply.
Anytime someone asks me what he or she can do about cancer, I tell them that there are many different ways of getting cancer but there is a simple method of preventing cancer.
How can you prevent cancer? Well instead of avoiding all the long list of food that could give you cancer, it’s better you eat food that kill those dangerous cells.
Some foods have been shown to be able to fight cancer. All these foods contain antioxidants, which are chemicals that are against cancer growth. Examples if these antioxidants are lycopene, vitamin C, beta carotene and ellagic acid.
I would want you to note that am not an expert that will try to prove whether and how these foods prevent cancer. What I am concerned about is convincing you that these foods can help you fight cancer and get healthy.
So guys, let’s look at ten powerful foods that kill cancer cells like ninja assassins.
Tomato is red and red signifies danger. Yes, cancer is in danger when you eat tomatoes. Do you know why? Tomatoes contains a super powerful antioxidant called lycopene. Lycopene is mainly found in tomatoes. They help prevent prostrate cancer.
Instead of regularly cooking with tin tomatoes, try fresh tomatoes and endanger those cancer cells.
Eating carrots are equally going to prevent cancer. They contain an antioxidant called beta-carotene. Carrots are specifically known to prevent cancers relating to the digestive system. Apart from preventing cancer it also has other disease-fighting properties.
Don’t mind the awful smell it has, garlic is like cancer’s personal hater. Garlic has awesome abilities to stop cancer-causing substances from forming in your body. It contains selenium and also an active ingredient called, Allicin.
It is specifically known to prevent colon cancer.
4. Leafy vegetables
such as spinach are rich in lutein and carotenoids, that help displace unstable molecules from the body. This unstable molecules are also called free radicals and can easily lead to cancer cell growth.
Cabbages are very effective in preventing cancer growth, they have have the unique ability to kill harmful cancer cells and as well healthy, normal cells unharmed. The antioxidant it contains is vitamin C.
Of course, of course if you want to kill cancerous cells, you have got to spice it up a bit. Whether its chilli, yellow, or red pepper they are very powerful that destroy cancer growth or tumors.
It also neutralizes toxins and is equally a great source of vitamin C and capsaicin.

Whole grains are foods that contain all the essential parts and naturally-occurring nutrients of the entire grain seed in their original proportion. Whole grains contain a lot of fiber that prevents a host of diseases. They decrease the risk of colon cancer. Breads labelled “100% whole wheat” are better consumed. Include whole grains in your diet today.
Strawberries basically slow down the growth of cancer cells. They also contain a lot if antioxidants especially ellagic acid and vitamin C.
They are also known to combat heart diseases.
Orange as we all know is a rich source of vitamin C. But apart from that, it also contains limonene, that eliminates cancer cells and boosts the immune system.
The killer squad against cancer won’t be complete without including broccoli.
This edible green plant if the cabbage family is an amazing anticancer food. It contains fibers, indole-3-carbinol and sulforaphane that all reduces cancer risk. It’s main area it works on is breast cancer prevention. It is indeed a great source of food against cancer.
Please understand that these foods I mentioned should be eaten regularly, so that they can kill the cancer cells before they grow stronger. It might not always be easy but remember that a long healthy life is your fate, if you can watch what you put on your plate.
